Back in early 2023, when OpenAI first started rolling out generative tools to the public, I jumped in with programs like Midjourney and DALL·E just to see what the noise was about. Two years later, I honestly can’t imagine working without them, not because of the hype, but because they’ve become powerful creative tools for shaping ideas and building visual worlds. My background in workflows, editing, and videography naturally feeds into prompt generation, and I’ve realised my career has been quietly preparing me to work with AI all along. Funny how things work out.

Kling AI
This was one of my first projects using Kling AI within a primary campaign film. The client’s specific iconic landmarks meant stock footage wasn’t an option, but they supplied a collection of striking still images. I used those to build short animated sequences that gave the film a sense of movement without losing authenticity. Because the narrative was entirely visual, I layered 2 different songs and a rich set of sound effects to guide the viewer’s attention, keeping the overall tone calm and ASMR-inspired to fit the “Purort” aesthetic.
In my view, node-based creation has pushed creative AI to the next level. It allows multiple GPTs to work together within a single workflow, making it possible to reach the desired outcome faster and with far more control. The result is a more efficient process, reducing the need for costly and time-consuming re-generations that often lead in the wrong direction.

ElevenLabs has been a game changer for fast, flexible access to voice-over options. For this in-house campaign created for Human Factors Academy, we needed clear narration to explain the training programs on offer. The initial text-to-speech output still felt a bit too mechanical, even after adjusting parameters for tone and inflection. Instead, we used it to gently dub over the original guide track, creating a more natural, documentary-style delivery in both male and female German voices. In my opinion, ElevenLabs is still leading the way in voice generation.
